itzy tag is so intimidating... i yearn to contribute to it, yet i fear being in it. but here we are

i wrote this so fast i didn't even have time to think about the process lol. the idea for sure was in my head, but it wasn't till halfway through ryujin day that i decided to actually get up and write it. i was feeling extra productive this weekend you see.. (more on this later) it did end up being 4/18 in most parts of the world but there were still parts where it was 4/17 wooooo

i am obsessed with ryuryeong thanks to dearest oomf and many of the incredible authors i've read on ao3 <3 i also have no idea how to write them. this could be terribly ooc but i wanted the gist of how I like them because I think ryujin is a loser and has terminal inlove disease with chaeryeong. which, relatable. i also like when they fight but i'm bad at banter so there's less of that here

i also wanted to practice writing with a word limit, because i have historically gone over it in every finished fic i've written. i still went over it, but 1k becoming 1.2k is much better than 1k becoming 6k!

the plan, thrown together and completed in ~12hrs, was:

ryujin works at ~~the twenty arcade~~ chuck e cheese → it's her birthday → ??? → ryuryeong

birthday fics are simple enough... throw a party, have some friends there! jaemin (gamestop) yerim (zumiez) and minjeong (lush) are there because i love them and they sit perfectly in the age range i was looking for. (i also don't know how to write for any of them, sowwie) minnie and the rest of (g)i-dle work at pb because i know she did a stage with ryujin and is maybe friends with lia? belatedly i remembered i wanted to add stayc girls into the mix but i was already over and i didn't know where they should work </3

i think it's just neat to have ryujin wander around the mall and bother people.. sulky widdle baby. there's no driving force or overarching theme i literally just got out of bed and said maybe i Will write a ryujin day thing. so i did :]
